High Speed Belt

Before frying the washed and blanched slices, it is critical to dewater and separate product for proper feed into the fryer. By dewatering the slices, less water needs to be evaporated from the fryer resulting in improved energy requirements. By separating the slices, the risk for clusters forming in the fryer is greatly reduced.
The PPM Technologies High Speed Belt travels at high speed increasing the separation between incoming slices. The plastic belt transfers the slices at high rates under the air knife hood. The special designed plastic belt ensures that no water is trapped. Optional suction boxes can be added.
